NutriCRM vs Zoconut: which fits your practice?
Zoconut is one of the broadest platforms for nutrition professionals, with video calls, wearables, branded apps and a long list of integrations. NutriCRM is a more focused workspace for the core of a practice: enquiries, client records, diet plans, follow-ups and payments. Here is an honest look at where each one fits.

The short answer
Zoconut covers almost everything a nutrition business might need, including built-in video calls, wearable sync, payments in many currencies and its own branded apps, but as of October 2026 its website says it is at maximum capacity and new customers join a waitlist. NutriCRM covers the core practice workflow (leads, client records, 7-day diet plans, payments and a branded client app) and is open for sign-ups today with a 7-day free trial. Choose Zoconut if you need its video, wearable or commission features and can wait; choose NutriCRM if you want to start now with a focused tool.

Where Zoconut is genuinely strong
Breadth is Zoconut’s biggest advantage. Beyond client profiles and diet plans, it lists task automations, documents and waivers your clients can sign, a product and service store, referrals and feedback, and business analytics. Few nutrition tools cover that much in one product.
It also connects to more of the outside world than NutriCRM does today. Its integrations page names calendars (Google, Apple), telehealth (Zoom, Google Meet), wearables (Fitbit, Google Fit, Apple Health, Mi), payment gateways (Stripe, Square, Razorpay, Cashfree, PhonePe), accounting (QuickBooks) and marketing tools (Mailchimp, Facebook).
Two features stand out for some practices: built-in video calls, and the option to earn commission on lab test bookings and supplement purchases made through the platform.
Where NutriCRM is different
NutriCRM is narrower on purpose. It is built around the path a client takes through a practice: an enquiry moves through a visible pipeline (new, contacted, qualified, converted), becomes a client record with health history, gets a 7-day diet plan built from the food and recipe library, and is followed up and billed from the same screen.
The practical differences that come up most when practices compare the two:
- Availability: NutriCRM is taking new practices now; Zoconut’s site asks new customers to join a waitlist (checked October 2026).
- Pricing model: NutriCRM is priced by your client volume and quoted on a demo; Zoconut charges a credit per active client per month.
- Messaging: NutriCRM includes client chat with groups and broadcasts inside the branded app.
- Limits to know about: NutriCRM started in 2024, has fewer integrations, works in English only, has no built-in video (it connects to Zoom) and is not HIPAA certified.
When staying on Zoconut makes more sense
If your practice runs well on Zoconut, switching is rarely worth it for its own sake. Years of client history, templates and habits built around one interface have real value, and moving them takes effort.
Staying also makes sense if you rely on the features NutriCRM does not have: built-in video, wearable data, HIPAA requirements, or the lab and supplement commission income.
Pricing
Zoconut does not publish plan tiers. Its FAQ describes credit-based pricing: one credit covers one active client for one month, at Rs. 240 to 360 per credit, and it says it does not offer special discounts.
For example, a practice with 50 active clients would use 50 credits a month under that model, so the cost grows directly with your client list. Check the current rate with Zoconut before you compare.
NutriCRM pricing is based on your client volume and quoted on a short demo, with no per-message or credit charges. The 7-day free trial does not need a card.
Switching from Zoconut to NutriCRM
Zoconut’s FAQ says your data is yours and you can take it with you, so start by exporting your client list and saving your plan templates before you change anything.
There is no automated import from Zoconut into NutriCRM. Client profiles and diet plan templates are re-created in NutriCRM. For a solo practitioner with a couple of dozen core templates that is a few hours spread over a week; a clinic with more templates needs longer.
The low-risk way to try it is to run both side by side: start the free trial, onboard two or three new clients in NutriCRM, build one template and test the client app, while existing clients finish their current plan where they are. Clinics with several dietitians should allow an extra week to set up roles and agree how leads are assigned.
Frequently asked questions
Is Zoconut accepting new customers?
As of October 2026, Zoconut’s website says it is operating at maximum capacity and asks new customers to join a waitlist. Check its site for the current status.
How does Zoconut pricing work?
Zoconut’s FAQ describes credit-based pricing: one credit equals one month of service for one client, at Rs. 240 to 360 per credit, with no special discounts. It does not publish plan tiers.
What is the best Zoconut alternative?
It depends on what you need. If you want a focused tool for leads, client records, diet plans, follow-ups and payments that you can start using now, NutriCRM is a strong option. If you need built-in video, HIPAA compliance and insurance billing, platforms such as Practice Better or Healthie fit better.
Does Zoconut have video calls? Does NutriCRM?
Zoconut has built-in video calling and also works with Zoom and Google Meet. NutriCRM does not have built-in video; it connects to Zoom and Google Calendar for sessions.
Can I move my clients from Zoconut to NutriCRM?
Yes, but not automatically. Export your data from Zoconut first, then re-create client profiles and plan templates in NutriCRM. Most practices run both tools side by side for a couple of weeks.
Does NutriCRM have a free trial?
Yes. NutriCRM has a 7-day free trial and does not ask for a card. Pricing is shared on a demo, based on your practice.
