- This recipe will make 2 servings of Shirataki Noodles.
- Open the package of shirataki noodles and drain the liquid. Rinse the noodles thoroughly under cold water for 1-2 minutes.
- Boil the noodles in a pot of water for 2-3 minutes. This helps to remove the distinct odor.
- Drain the noodles and pat them dry with paper towels. Heat the olive oil or sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Add the dried shirataki noodles to the pan and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they are heated through and slightly golden.
- Pour the soy sauce over the noodles and mix well to ensure the noodles are evenly coated. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if using. Stir to combine.
- Transfer the noodles to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onion on top.
- Notes :-Protein Addition: For a more filling meal, add some cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu. Vegetable Addition: You can also add vegetables like bell peppers, broccoli during the stir-frying process
