- This recipe will make 2-3 servings.
- Rinse the oats and moong dal under running water and soak them in water for 2-3 hours.
- Meanwhile, boil fresh or frozen green peas with salt . Make sure to cook green peas completely.
- After soaking, drain the water and blend the oats and moong dal into a smooth paste.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blended oats and moong dal paste with besan and curd. Mix well to form a smooth batter.
- Add the grated carrot, peas, crumbled paneer, finely chopped onion, green chilli, fennel seeds, and salt to the batter. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Allow the batter to rest for 10-15 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush it with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin circle.
- Cook the chilla until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown, then flip it over and cook the other side until it's also golden brown.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adjusting the heat as needed to prevent burning.
- Once cooked, serve the Oats and Besan Chilla hot.
