- This recipe will make 2-3 servings.
- Rinse the moong dal and soak it in water for about 2 hours.
- Meanwhile, boil fresh or frozen green peas with salt . Make sure to cook green peas completely.
- Grind the soaked moong dal and oats together to form a smooth batter. Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl.
- Add curd to the batter and mix well to combine.
- Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl and add the crumbled tofu, grated carrot, boiled peas, chia seeds.
- Add finely chopped onion, tomato, green chilli, and salt. Mix well.
- Set aside for about 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the hot pan and spread it evenly to form a thin circle.
- Cook the chilla on one side until it starts to turn golden brown. Then, flip it over and cook the other side until it's also golden brown.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding a little oil to the pan for each chilla.
- Serve the hot Oats and Peas chilla with chutney.
